PKMvR heritage research consultancy has over 30 years experience working in the academic and the non-academic world. The company is founded and owned by Pauline K.M. van Roosmalen and combines an academic methodology with a pragmatic, hands-on approach.
Van Roosmalen holds a MA in Art and Architecture History from the VU University in Amsterdam and a PhD in History of Architecture and Town Planning from Delft University of Technology. She also holds a MA in Contemporary Dance from Codarts in Rotterdam.
Van Roosmalen is an hourly paid lecturer at Delft University of Technology and a peer reviewer for several international journals. She was a member of the Commissie Ruimtelijke Kwaliteit in Bussum and chaired the Commissie Ruimtelijke Kwaliteit in Soest. Currently, Van Roosmalen chairs the Commissie Ruimtelijke Kwaliteit Het Nieuwe Land (Noordoostpolder, Dronten, Lelystad) and the Supervisory Board of LeineRoebana Dance Company in Amsterdam.
